Refined bench / antique-style occasional table in the Umbertine/Eclectic style dating from the late 19th century, in excellent conservation condition and of great antique value. A rare piece and hard to find on the market due to its exceptional length and its construction supported by 6 turned and grooved feet. Technical details and workmanship: Vienna straw weaving: handwoven with the finest artisan craftsmanship, threaded for a hole in the frame (traditional pass-through lashing, not pre-woven or simply stapled), with stitching/anchoring on the back. Construction: Solid hardwood with elegant geometric carvings along the apron and 6 solid turned legs. Versatility: Perfect as a bed-end/entryway bench or as an elegant coffee table or dramatic display surface. Dimensions: Length 150 cm x Depth 55 cm x Height 45 cm. Conditions: Excellent overall condition. Wood healthy, solid structure, Vienna straw intact and well taut.
