Crystal troncoconical vase from the Poetic Garden collection by Baccarat, designed by Atelier LZC, in multicolour enamel glaze (blue, violet, orange, red), dating to 2000–2010, 35 cm high and 9 cm in width, depth and diameter, in very good condition with occasional minor signs of wear.
Description from the seller
Splendid and elegant high-stem, cone-shaped vase in fine transparent Baccarat crystal, belonging to the famous and exclusive collection "Poetic Garden" (also known as Jardin Poétique), created in the early 2000s in collaboration with the renowned Atelier LZC (Michaël Cailloux, Vanessa Lambert, Michaël Zancan).
The piece stands out for an extraordinary multilayer silkscreen decoration in high-temperature-fired polychrome enamels: a vivid and refined color gradient that runs from the blue/purple of the base, through the intense orange of the center, to the bright red at the summit. The design depicts a delicate and exotic botanical-inspired natural scene with wild plants, ferns, birds on the branches, and butterflies in flight.
Unlike the monochrome or acid-etched versions, the variant in vibrant polychrome enamels represents the rarest, most dramatic, and sought-after execution by the French house.
