Charlie Chaplin - Silence… work in progress! - 1/7 - Artbox

“Charlie Chaplin – Silence… work in progress!” Chaplin doesn't say a word… but that look seems to be asking, “Excuse me, but who gave you permission to repaint my painting?”
On one side, the timeless charm of silent cinema, on the other, an unlikely artistic construction site suspended, where the painter applies blue and his little helper has fun transforming the wall into a work within a work.
The result is a curious and original painting, where cinema, art, irony, and 3D illusion coexist as if Chaplin had accidentally stumbled upon the wrong construction site!
Hurry at the auction: get it before they finish the wall… because Chaplin might just grab his cane and bowler hat and leave!
