Marantz AV7005 multi‑channel preamplifier/processor (pre‑pro), manufactured in 2006, in Excellent physical condition and tested and working, serial number 20001041000696, weight 10 kg, includes remote control and power cord, with 7.2 balanced XLR outputs and 11.2 unbalanced RCA outputs.
Description from the seller
The Marantz AV7005 is a high-quality multi-channel A/V preamplifier/processor (pre-pro), launched around 2010. Unlike a regular receiver, this device itself does not have built-in amplifiers; it serves purely as a control center for processing audio and video signals and must be connected to a separate power amplifier (such as the then matching Marantz MM7055).
Key Specifications and Features
Audio outputs: Features 7.2 balanced XLR outputs and 11.2 unbalanced RCA outputs. This allows you to send interference-free signals over long distances to high-end power amplifiers or active speakers.
Surround & Processing: Supports HD audio formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master Audio, as well as Audyssey DSX and Dolby Pro Logic IIz.
Room Calibration: Equipped with Audyssey MultEQ XT for automatic calibration and correction of acoustics in the listening room.
Video: Features 6 HDMI inputs and 2 HDMI outputs (version 1.4a with support for 3D and ARC). Video processing is done via the Anchor Bay ABT2015 10-bit chip.
Network & Streaming: Features a built-in Ethernet port for DLNA 1.5 streaming (such as FLAC and MP3 files from a NAS), internet radio and an optional AirPlay upgrade.
Analog Extras: Includes a built-in MM phono preamplifier for directly connecting a record player.
