Rare violet Eritrite with many aesthetic crystals on matrix from Bou Azzer Mine, Ouisselsate Caïdat, Amerzgane Cercle, Ouarzazate Province, Drâa-Tafilalet, Morocco.
Description from the seller
From our selection of collectible minerals, we propose a rare group of Eritrite crystals from Bou Azzer, Morocco.
Furthermore, it features acicular tufts of purple-violet crystals that radiate in a sunburst pattern inside cavities of the dark matrix, in clear contrast with white quartz inclusions, elements that enhance its aesthetic value and mineralogical significance.
The specimen stands out for the quality of crystallization and for the overall aesthetic balance, with characteristics that highlight its natural structure and visual impact.
Eritrite, known among collectors as the "cobalt bloom" (bloom of cobalt), owes its intense pinkish-purple color to the presence of cobalt ions in octahedral coordination within the crystal structure. The Bou Azzer mine in Morocco is the world's most important deposit for this cobalt arsenate, historically exploited for cobalt and nickel extraction from primary minerals such as skutterudite, of which Eritrite is a secondary alteration product in the oxidation zone.
This is an ideal specimen for mineral collections, display, and for those who appreciate the natural beauty of minerals, even in the context of crystal therapy and lithotherapy, according to the properties traditionally associated with the mineral species.
All minerals are 100% natural and untreated, save for very rare exceptions always noted in the description. The photographs are taken with professional lighting to best enhance colors and details; however, slight variations in shade may occur depending on the device or ambient light.
Shipping is carried out via reliable express couriers, with fast delivery (in many cases 1-2 working days in Europe), tracked and insured shipment, and professional and secure packaging, as confirmed by customer reviews. Deliveries can also take place the day after payment depending on the destination.
It is possible to accumulate multiple purchases and receive them in a single shipment, even from auctions with different end dates, simply contact us to arrange the consolidation. For important pieces, direct delivery by appointment to your home or at major European fairs is also available.
