Description from the seller

IN RISALTO:
• Iconic Lincoln Continental Mark VI from 1983 equipped with a V8 engine
• Elegant and imposing luxury coupé from American production of the 1980s
• Drivable vehicle, with a new battery

STORIA/PANORAMICA:
The Lincoln Continental Mark VI represents one of the high expressions of American automotive luxury in the early 1980s, characterized by sharp lines, top-level comfort, and a rich onboard equipment. This 1983 example was purchased on this platform years ago and has remained stationary for a long time. The car is drivable and is equipped with a single key. Registration documents are not available and the car is without plates.

CARROZZERIA/VERNICIATURA:
The bodywork is in normal overall condition, with signs of wear and visible aesthetics. Scratches, marks, some dents and some areas showing the beginning of rust are present. Some external body parts, such as moldings and related components, are detached or broken. The mechanism for moving the retractable exterior lights tends to jam and requires adjustment.

INTERNI:
The cabin retains the original layout but needs restorations and specific interventions. The air vent on the upper dashboard is broken and there are several interior parts detached or damaged. In terms of equipment and accessories, the air conditioning, interior ventilation, power windows and windshield wipers are not functioning. The indicator light for the headlights on the instrument cluster is on and some interior buttons and actuators do not work.

MECCANICA:
The car is mechanically drivable and has a newly installed battery. Having stood idle for several years, it requires general maintenance and a full service before being put back on the road. There is no service booklet nor a documented history of past maintenance.

DOCUMENTI:
The car is sold without registration documents and without plates.

Possibility to arrange home delivery both in Italy and abroad, with costs borne by the buyer. The car is viewable and pick-up is possible by appointment. It is advisable to view the vehicle before making an offer. Costs related to registration or transport are charged to the buyer.

Disclaimer

Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
