Titled "La Tisseuse" (The Weave), this original creation is a world-first unique piece. It features a majestic spider, meticulously assembled by hand from recovery pearls in various shades (nacreous, brown, and gold), suspended at the heart of a complex geometric web woven in golden steel wires.
• Technique: Art weaving in golden steel wires, recovered pearls, handmade gilding highlights applied to the support (Art upcycling).
• Condition: Excellent condition of the artwork.
The piece derives its strength and prestige from its support: an authentic antique oval frame (19th century) in carved wood gilded with fine gold leaf. The old frame retains its patina, enhanced by subtle contemporary gilding touches added by the artist to echo the canvas, while preserving its charming signs of time.
