Rosenthal - Timo Sarpaneva - Soup bowl (8) - Suomi - Bone china - Like new

The Suomi series is characterized by its reduced, organic form. The rounded shapes are compact, curved, and reminiscent of water-worn pebbles.
The Sharon decor complements the puristic, white form and shows delicate floral motifs in the form of stylized leaves and blossoms, in soft pastel tones such as pale blue, soft pink and a subtle green. Delicate gold accents give the service an elegant touch.
The soup cups are designed in a flat, bulbous shape with two distinctive, ergonomic handles, so they can be stacked space-saving.
This timelessly beautiful service was designed by the Finnish designer Timo Saraneva and appeared on the market in 1976. The series is now freely available on the open market and is appreciated by collectors and connoisseurs for its puristic, timeless shape and elegance.
Made of hard porcelain, which gives the dinnerware its lovely shine.
