Description from the seller
Vintage Disney - Hand-carved wooden figures of Huey, Dewey & Louie - Set of 3 - 1980s/1990s
Description
For the true Disney fan or vintage collector: a beautiful, complete set of the three iconic nephews of Donald Duck: Huey, Dewey and Louie.
These characteristic figurines are completely hand-carved from solid wood and hand-painted. Each nephew is recognizable by his own colored sweater (dark blue, green and brown/red) and the distinctive caps. Because this is pure handwork, each figure is unique, which you can also clearly see in the charming details and the slight variation in weight per figure.
The underside of the figures is unfinished, allowing the authentic wood grain to be beautifully visible. A tremendously decorative set that is rarely offered in this complete form.
Specifications per figure:
• Characters: Huey, Dewey and Louie (Disney)
• Material: Solid wood (hand-carved and hand-painted)
• Height: approx. 20 cm
• Width: approx. 10 cm
• Depth: approx. 9 cm
• Weight: 327 g, 430 g and 440 g (total weight approx. 1200 g)
• Period: 1980s / 1990s
• Condition: In good, vintage condition with normal signs of aging inherent to the woodwork (see photos for an accurate impression).
