This handwoven kilim is characterized by a very fine, even line structure and a calm, natural color impression. The entire surface is subdivided by numerous narrow horizontal stripes that run slightly irregularly, giving the rug a lively, handmade surface.
Color-wise, brown, taupe, beige and cream dominate. The light lines clearly contrast with the darker brown and taupe tones, creating a dense, finely textured overall image. A slim vertical line runs through the center of the rug and visually divides the surface into two halves.
There is a complete absence of classical ornaments or floral motifs. The effect arises from the fine stripe structure, the natural color tones, and the slightly irregular weave. As a result, the kilim appears modern, understated, and timeless.
