A beautiful large tin from the Art Deco period. It was made by the well-known Dutch tin manufacturer Wed. J. Bekkers & Zoon from Dordrecht.
The tin features refined, stylized raised images (lithography) of exotic cranes and flamingos in a watery landscape with reeds. The striking bright orange-red background, combined with black and blue, is typical for luxury packaging from that era.

Dimensions:
32.5 x 20 x 14 cm (L x W x H).
Weight: 710 grams.

The tin is in good condition considering its age. The lid shows signs of use, but closes well. The key is missing. Furthermore, the tin has some light wear, which is to be expected for something of this age.

Een prachtig groot blik uit de Art Decp periode. Hij is gemaakt door de bekende Nederlandse blikfabrikant Wed. J. Bekkers & Zoon uit Dordrecht. 
Het blik heeft verfijnde, gestileerde afbeeldingen in reliëf (lithografie) van exotische kraanvogels en flamingo's in een waterrijk landschap met riet. De opvallende felle oranje-rode achtergrond in combinatie met zwart en blauw is typisch voor de luxe verpakkingen uit die periode.

32,5 x 20 x 14 cm (l x b x h).
Gewicht: 710 gram.

Het blik is in een goede staat, gezien zijn leeftijd. De deksel vertoont sporen van gebruik, maar sluit goed. Het sleuteltje ontbreekt. Verder heeft het blik wat lichte slijtage, iets wat past bij de leeftijd van dit blik.

Het blik wordt zorgvuldig verpakt en verzekerd verzonden.
