This handwoven Kelim is characterized by a modern, abstract design and a soft gradient between cool and light color tones. The surface is defined by blue, blue-gray, dark gray, cream and beige, and thus appears calm, modern and at the same time very individual.
Particularly characteristic are the finely flowing horizontal lines, which transition from the left side into the lighter right half of the rug. In the upper area, blue- and gray-blue tones dominate, while the lower area appears noticeably darker in dark gray to anthracite. Toward the right side these colors gradually dissolve into cream and light beige.
Through these stepped, almost blurred transitions, an abstract, dynamic effect arises. The rug completely omits classical motifs or traditional borders and instead relies on color, texture and the high-contrast gradient.
