Pair of ecclesiastical talamoni - 54 cm (2) - Wood - 1940-1950

2 wooden talamoni (carved) from roughly the mid-1900s. Originally installed in boiserie of a palace or furniture of ecclesiastical origin. Inspired by the Baroque, they depict two male biblical figures. They are in good condition with the original patina of time; one of them has aged glue on the back (see photo). They measure 54 x 15 x 13 cm.
