HISTORY & DOCUMENTATION
A quirky and characterful British roadster with a stylish, timeless bodywork: that is Panther Kallista in essence. The car was built by Panther Westwinds in the years 1982 to 1990 and, with about 1,437 units produced, is a rare sight. The Kallista was offered with various Ford drivetrains, including a 1.6-liter four-cylinder, a 2.0-liter, and the beloved 2.8-liter V6 from the Ford Cologne engine family, which gives the car its most powerful and sought-after variant.
This particular Kallista was built in 1985 and equipped with that 2.8 V6, which provides a smooth and powerful driving experience that suits the roadster’s light character perfectly. This car has been meticulously maintained and comes with an extensive folder of documentation, including technical manuals, many invoices for new parts, substantial history, including historical photos from England, and an appraisal report. Thanks to its year of manufacture, the car is exempt from road tax.
EXTERIOR
The car was new in 1985 in England and arrived in the Netherlands in 2003. Since then it has been cared for with attention, which is clearly evident in its overall condition. The bodywork is in neat condition with only light signs of wear consistent with a classic that has been regularly driven.
The paint presents a well-kept look, and chrome parts, trims, and rubbers are in good condition. The fit of the body panels is tight. The glass is tinted. The car has a bold, period-correct black paint job with black alloy wheels. The headlights and high beams are equipped with black headlamp covers.
INTERIOR
The interior of this right-hand-drive Kallista is also neatly cared for. The stunning leather seats are upholstered in beige leather, which, together with wooden accents on the dashboard, create a classic British atmosphere. The steering wheel and shift knob are finished in wood. The seats offer notably high comfort for an open roadster. There is a radio/cd-player present. In addition to the soft top, there is an extra cover, making the car practical in varying weather conditions.
TECHNICAL
Technically, the Kallista drives light and direct, with precise steering, reliable brakes, and a well-tuned drivetrain that makes the most of the 2.8 V6. The engine is fuel-injected and delivers about 135 hp. The whole car feels solid and honest, just as a classic roadster should feel.
The underside is in solid condition. The manual gearbox has 5 speeds. For those seeking a characterful, rare, and accessibly priced British classic, this Panther Kallista offers a particularly complete combination of style, driving pleasure, and experience.

Disclaimer
Catawiki always aims to offer you the best possible buying experience. Our experts virtually review and select every vehicle in line with our submission guidelines and we require our sellers to provide the most accurate description of the vehicle. However, providing a fully detailed analysis of the vehicle is extremely difficult, and close to impossible. To guide you, we ask our sellers to provide information about the vehicle’s condition. Please consider that most vehicles for sale are classic vehicles and they often already have a whole life behind them, meaning that even a condition 1 or 2 vehicle might need maintenance to be ready for the road. It is advised to carefully read our submission guidelines that further describe details about the condition grades and types to manage your expectations. Cars are sold “as is”, meaning as described and in the condition they are in at the time of the sale and without any representation, warranty or assumption of liability of any kind as to the condition by Catawiki or by the seller. The condition of this item is the opinion of the seller and may differ from yours, your local garage, or the dealer’s opinion. This does not automatically mean the car does not conform to its description. Before bidding, please check your local legislation regarding vehicle registration. Neither the seller nor Catawiki is responsible for the registration of the vehicle in your country and will not accept a cancellation for your failure to register the vehicle. We also recommend that, if possible, you arrange a viewing with the seller before placing a bid.
