Rome - a collection of four splendid and refined original photographic images, printed on albumen paper, sepia-toned, mounted on cardboard, created around 1870, attributed to the famous English photographer James Anderson, among the leading figures and precursors of photographic art in Italy.

The photographs of rare beauty depict views and details of the Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls in Rome.

The photos are in good condition with minimal signs of use and slight traces of aging, consistent with objects that have traversed nearly 150 years of history.
