Val Saint Lambert - Figurine - MADONNA - RARE MODEL 1950's - "ART-DECO LOOK" - René Delvenne - Crystal

This very rare Madonna figurine was designed by René Delvenne in the 1950's and made in Belgium by Val Saint Lambert. This particular model of the Madonna is difficult to find. As it is not seen offered for sale and also not found on the Internet, there is even a possibility that this piece is unique. Beautifully crafted, this stylized figurine has sharply etched lines giving it an Art-Deco look.

Val Saint Lambert crystal has a high lead content of 33-40%, much higher than the legally required 24%. This extra lead content gives the product extra brilliance and clarity. The lovely Madonna figurine will certainly sparkle in the light and be a talking piece in any interior. The condition is MINT. A factory sticker can be seen on the front of the piece.
