Bull’s Eye mineral (also known as bull’s eye) is in reddish-brown, mahogany brown, or rusty red tones. In addition, this quartz preserves chatoyancy or the “cat’s eye” effect, meaning it shows vertical bands with bright, silky reflections that move as light shifts position.

The Bull’s Eye stone, also called bull’s eye, gets its name from its distinctive shine. Already present in ancient Greece, it reminded onlookers of the gaze of the Minotaur. This connection to the son of Minos trapped in Daedalus’ labyrinth confers, in the West, Bull’s Eye properties related to physical power, impulse, beastliness, and a certain ferocity.
