Christofle (Orfèvrerie Gallia) - Art Nouveau Silver-Plated Oil & Vinegar Cruet Set - "Huilier-Vinaigrier" - c. 1900/1910
An exquisite and highly collectible French Art Nouveau silver-plated oil and vinegar cruet set (huilier-vinaigrier), produced by the prestigious Maison Christofle for their exclusive Orfèvrerie Gallia line.
Dating back to the early 20th century (circa 1900–1910), this piece is a textbook example of the French Belle Époque and Art Nouveau aesthetic. The elegant design is frequently attributed to the renowned designer Felix Cheron.
The set is in good antique condition. The silver-plated frame is beautifully preserved, showing bright plating with minimal signs of age and light surface wear consistent with use. The glass decanters are structurally sound, clean, and clear. Please note: there are visible chips on the glass stoppers/caps (please refer to the close-up photos for exact condition). Otherwise, a spectacular and highly decorative piece.
