Beautiful etched glass Art Nouveau decorative vase designed by the famous French glass designer Emile Gallé.

Entirely decorated with an etched pattern of wisteria (blue wisteria). The vase consists of layers of colored glass that are treated with an acid etching process. The outer purple layer is treated in such a way that a very refined floral design is etched, which nicely stands out against the white base layer. Very detailed, even the veins of the leaves are visible.

Nice form with an elegant neck and standing on a round foot.

Good condition, a pencil scratch visible, see detail photos.

Prachtige geëtst glazen Art Nouveau siervaas ontworpen door de fameuze franse glasontwerper Emile Gallé.

Geheel gedecoreerd met een geëtst decor van wisteria (blauweregen). De vaas bestaat uit meerkleurige glas lagen die met zure ets procedees wordt bewerkt. De buitenste paarse laag is hier zodanig behandeld dat een zeer verfijnd decor van bloemen is uit geëtst dat fraai afsteekt tegen de witte onderlaag. Heel gedetailleerd, zelfs de nerven van de bladeren zijn zichtbaar. 

Mooie vorm met een sierlijke hals en staand op een ronde voet.

Goede staat, potlood krasje zichtbaar, zie detailfoto's.
