Description from the seller
Atala Master FIRE Tubone.
The motorcycle is in rough condition.
It should be noted that despite its age it runs perfectly and starts at the first try.
Obviously a small restoration wouldn’t hurt, but overall it has been kept in fairly decent condition.
Obviously the signs of wear and the passage of time are very evident.
The motorcycle is original in every respect and has never been tampered with.
Atala Master was one of the Italian protagonists of the glorious era of the "tuboni", a segment of mopeds that redefined youth mobility from the late 1970s through the 1980s.
Produced by the historic Italian company Atala starting in 1984 (and remained in production until 1997), the Master was born to compete directly with period giants such as the Malaguti Fifty, the Garelli Ciclone, and the Peripoli Oxford.
The concept of the "Tubone" and the design
The peculiarity of this model lay entirely in its structure.
The chassis was made from a single large central steel tube that did not merely serve as the backbone of the vehicle, but housed the fuel tank inside it.
The Fire or LF model shown in the photos is equipped with a direct-drive variator engine produced directly by Rizzato (Atala’s parent company).
This vehicle was designed for maximum ease of riding and for extremely low consumption (even 40-45 km per liter).
