Otodus megalodon tooth specimen from Bone Valley, Florida, dating to the Quaternary, Pleistocene (2.58–0.0117 million years ago), natural condition, weight 25 g, 5.5 cm high by 4.5 cm wide by 1 cm deep, authentic/original.
Description from the seller
This stunning Otodus Megalodon tooth comes from the legendary Bone Valley in Florida. The first thing that stands out is the striking contrast between the bluish-gray enamel and the noticeably white, robust root.
The crown has a beautiful bluish-gray color with silvery nuances and clear, natural lines that give the enamel extra depth. The fine serrations along the cutting edges are clearly visible and give the tooth its characteristic appearance.
The broad white root forms a striking contrast with the dark crown. Together with the powerful, triangular shape, this makes the tooth a particularly attractive specimen for any fossil collector.
The provenance also makes this find interesting. Bone Valley is known for its impressive fossil shark teeth, but it is becoming increasingly difficult to obtain specimens from this area. As a result, authentic teeth from this region remain sought after by collectors.
Place a handsome bid if you want to add this topper to your collection, and who knows, it could be yours after this auction!
