This Arnolfo di Cambio glass cooler, attributed to Laura Griziotti, has a flared body with deep vertical ribs and a shaped rim.
Description from the seller
An object that immediately catches the eye: this refined transparent crystal cooler, attributed to Laura Griziotti, transforms a table accessory into a true sculptural presence.
Architect and Milan-based designer, Griziotti belongs to the great era of Italian design in the second half of the twentieth century. Her work is linked to notable collaborations with Cini Boeri and to projects for companies such as Arflex, Molteni and Tre-Più, in a period when form, function and experimentation redefined modern living.
The cooler perfectly embodies that spirit: flared body, deep vertical ridges, a heavy base and a shaped upper rim, with a strong yet elegant geometry that continually changes with the light.
Made for Arnolfo di Cambio, it can be used as a cooler, a vase or a decorative element, and is particularly suited to a modern interior, Mid-Century or to a collection of Italian design.
The piece does not retain the original label; attribution to Laura Griziotti is therefore proposed for comparison with documented examples of the same model.
A design piece with a strong personality, still today surprisingly contemporary.
