Guib harnessed - Taxidermy wall mount - Tragelaphus scriptus - taxidermie très proche de l'excellence d'un spécimen mâle adulte - - 72 cm - 33 cm - 44 cm - Non-CITES species

Look closely at the entire set of photos.

The strapped gazelle or strapped gazelle (Tragelaphus scriptus) is a medium-sized bovine species, with a reddish coat bearing a variable number of white stripes and spots on its flanks. It lives in forests and scrubland in central and southern Africa. It is closely related to the kudu, the sitatunga, and the bongo. It is a species that generally adapts very well to changing conditions. It is found across most of sub-Saharan Africa. The strapped gazelle has a compact body and balanced proportions, characterized by a moderate size. Its weight generally ranges from 30 to 80 kg, males being more massive than females. At the shoulder, it stands about 60 to 90 cm tall, while its total length reaches 1.1 to 1.5 m. Its sexual dimorphism is evident: only males have spiral horns, measuring between 15 and 50 cm, while females are hornless.

The taxidermy of this large male is very close to excellence. The pose, head slightly turned, the colors, and the gaze are sublime.
The head bears very beautiful natural-colored horns, 36 cm in length (36 cm), which places this trophy in the upper middle range of great trophies.

The last photo shows a living specimen in its natural habitat.
