This 1930–1940 Junghans mechanical regulator clock is made of wood and copper and has an eight-day movement with half-hour strikes on multiple gongs.
Description from the seller
This mantel regulator is made by the German clockworks factory Junghans, Württemberg. The company began producing clocks in this town at the beginning of the last century.
The wooden case has a glass pane on each side. The case shows hardly any signs of wear and has, at the bottom right, a damage where a screw used to fix the case to the wall broke off. The arch has several lighter-colored decorative motifs.
The case door has lighter-colored decorative motifs in the four corners. At the bottom of the case door are three panes separated from each other by wooden muntins. Furthermore, there is a beaded border along the sides.
The movement is Junghans number W202. On the dial lies the Junghans logo. A clockmaker recently serviced the clock, so it runs and strikes perfectly again. For winding the springs, a key is included with this lot.
The clock has four strike hammers and therefore four gong rods. The green gong block bears a floral motif.
The clock can be picked up in Almere. Shipping will be carried out carefully packed and by registered mail.
