The Casali del Barone Nebbiolo 2022 is an interesting, classic wine from Northern Italy. It offers much of the recognizable character of Nebbiolo: cherries, raspberries and other red fruit, with possibly some plum. Violets, dried herbs and light wood notes. Fresh acidity, clear tannins and a dry finish. Serving temperature: 16–18 °C. Decanting: about 30 minutes in advance can help release the aromas. Delicious with: beef, lamb, game, mushroom risotto, pasta with meat sauce, and aged cheeses.
