Description from the seller
Silvered and gilded octagonal monstrance sun – 19th century
Beautiful Eucharistic monstrance in silvered metal, featuring a radiant decoration, probably dating from the second half of the 19th century.
The circular glory is decorated with blue, green, and red colored glass cabochons, as well as relief motifs.
Two heads of winged cherubs in gilded metal embellish the upper part and the base.
The whole rests on a molded circular base and a baluster stem. A summit cross completes the composition.
The central part comprises a circular hinged receptacle.
Beautiful overall condition, with signs of use, wear to the silvering and patina consistent with age. See photographs.
The photos are an integral part of the object's description and supplement its presentation. They allow you to appreciate its condition and features. Please examine them carefully before any commitment.
The item will be carefully packaged and shipped with a tracking number to ensure fast and secure delivery.
Happy bidding
