A Pair of Chinese White-Glazed Porcelain Foo Dogs

An attractive pair of Chinese porcelain Foo dogs, also known as guardian lions, modelled seated on square pedestal bases. Both figures feature a glossy ivory-white glaze, intricately modelled manes, expressive faces and a paw resting on a decorative ball. The sculptural detailing and elegant monochrome finish make this pair a timeless decorative addition to a classic or eclectic interior.

The bases bear impressed rectangular Chinese seal marks.
