Rated Excellent on Trustpilot.
Original edition (EO) of Le temple du soleil by Tintin, by Hergé, published in 1949 by Casterman, hardcover, in very good condition with 4e plat B3 and two Inca sigils on the title page.
Description from the seller
Original edition of Tintin's The Temple of the Sun by Hergé, 1949.
The 4th inner cover page B3 and the two Inca logos on the title page attest that this is the original edition.
The spine is very beautiful, but the lower headcap has been reglued for 2 cm.
The first cover page is exceptional, with no trace of rubbing; only the upper right corner is slightly crushed with a small white wear point, and the lower right corner has undergone a black color retouch.
The 4th page is just as very, very beautiful, with merely what seems to be a color retouch at the upper left corner, and very light traces of dirt in the white of the cartridge.
The signature block is beautiful and firmly bound to the cover.
Presence of stains and reading marks at the bottom of pages (creases and various stains), as well as a tear at the bottom of page 53/54.
There is no writing.
Copy in very good condition.
