Brisart' lower left: 'Les Provinces des Pays-Bas Catholiques Vulgairement Connues Sous le Nom de Flandre, Savoir Les Duches de Brabant, de Limbourg, de Luxembourg et p.tie de Gueldre, Les Comtés de Flandre, d'Artois, de Hainaut, de Namur ... '.

Graveur was 'R. Michault Scripsit'.

A second elaborate cartouche at the upper left with provincial arms and various mile-sticks, mythological figures, historical references, some legends and putti.

By Nicolas Sanson d'Abbeville, in his 'Cartes Generales de toutes les parties du Monde', Paris, 1674.

Excellent condition, full sheet 44.5x61.5 cm with narrow margins, on sturdy paper with watermark, centerfold as issued, old-border colored, verso blank.
