Horse head sculpture in resin with silver-plated finish attributed to Brunel, measuring 19 cm wide by 21 cm high by 13 cm deep, signed and made in Italy, in discrete condition.
Description from the seller
This sculpture depicting a horse’s head, attributed to the Brunel manufactory, has the following distinctive features:
• Material and finish: The piece is made of heavy resin coated with a precious polished silver plating (often 999 or 925 silver, typical of Brunel production). The silver finish highlights the volumes thanks to a chiaroscuro play accentuated by patinas in the grooves.
• Anatomical details: The design captures the majestic elegance of the animal. The mane, flowing and full, is finely worked in relief with wavy tufts, while the muzzle shows realistic details in the veins, expressive eyes, and prominent nostrils.
• Base: The head is mounted on a solid glossy black circular base (wood-look lacquer or Bakelite), which serves as a pedestal and provides stability and color contrast to the metallic figure.
