Spectacular and imposing oval serving platter for turkey, in English fine earthenware, produced by the famous Copeland Spode manufactory in the sought-after 'Tower Pink' pattern, in its rare collectible variant with a central turkey motif ('Game Bird / Turkey Center'). The piece stands out for the richness of the decoration realized with the refined pink transferware technique (rose garnet transfer printing). The intricate outer frill with oriental-inspired floral motifs encloses a splendid and meticulous central naturalistic scene, dominated by the figure of a majestic wild turkey immersed in a rural landscape. Under the base the prestigious red stamp 'Copeland Spode England' is perfectly visible, accompanied by the original seal impressed in the ceramic paste, attesting to its historical dating and absolute authenticity. A ceremonial and collectible piece of the highest decorative value, ideal for embellishing the most exclusive tables or for display in large classical sideboards.
