Cabinet - Walnut

Beautiful walnut cabinet in Louis XV style, mid-18th century.
The style is typically French and the cabinet was made in the Netherlands, where French styles were very popular at the time.
The model is double-curved to fit the shape of the drawers in the lower cabinet.
Both doors are each symmetrical and exceptionally beautiful and skillfully crafted.

The color has aged very beautifully over time and has acquired a gold-honey color.

Very expertly made, with the woodworkers selecting the wood for its grain which is consistently mirrored.
Finished with narrow inlaid borders of other woods — this was fashionable at the time and a mark of quality. See detail photos.
The interior is oak, clean and very practical as storage space.
The lock is original and the key works.

The upper cabinet can be taken apart for transport.
Transport is on a pallet and packaged with sturdy cardboard.
You will receive a track-and-trace number so you can monitor the transport yourself.
