Elegant and rare Pierre Cardin sideboard from the 1970s, characterized by a bold and sophisticated design, perfectly representing the glamour and geometric aesthetics of the period.

The structure, entirely in glossy black lacquered wood, is refined by delicate gold profiles that frame the two side doors, creating a strong contrast with the black surface and giving the piece an extremely elegant look.

The sideboard offers excellent storage capacity and is organized with two side panels with doors, each equipped with an internal shelf, and four large central drawers.

The doors have been fitted with new brass knobs, chosen to preserve and enhance the furniture’s aesthetic. The original handles were not present, therefore they were replaced with these knobs, which harmonize with the gilded details of the sideboard.
The drawer handles are entirely original.

The combination of glossy black, gilded profiles, and brass details gives the sideboard a commanding presence, making it a piece particularly suited to an elegant environment, whether vintage or contemporary.

The lacquer shows normal signs of wear and aging, consistent with the piece’s age and visible in the photos. The door knobs are new. This is a characteristic to consider regarding its authenticity and vintage condition.
