Description from the seller

An original Grundig Stereo-Konzertschrank KS 555, produced in Germany in the 1960s, is offered. A characteristic vintage stereo piece from the era when radio, turntable and speakers were combined in one cabinet.

The cabinet features the original Grundig stereo radio/amplifier and a built-in Dual 1234 automatic turntable. The cabinet is finished in a beautiful dark brown wood veneer with a classic, high-gloss front.

The original controls, scale lighting, knobs and speaker fronts are present. On the back there is the original nameplate/documentation for the KS 555. The serial number is visible in the photos.

Condition:
The piece is in a nice, authentic vintage state for its age. There are normal signs of use appropriate for the age, including light scratches, dust and small damages to the wood and finish. The interior and technical components have not been professionally cleaned or restored.

Technical status:
The unit has not been tested. The operation of the radio, amplifier, speakers and Dual 1234 turntable is therefore unknown. It is sold in its current condition and may need to be checked, cleaned and/or serviced by the buyer.

A particularly decorative and collectible object for vintage audio enthusiasts, Grundig, German design history, and mid-century interiors.
