Description from the seller

Take a good look at all the photos.

The Lady Amherst's Pheasant (Chrysolophus amherstiae) is a species of galliform birds in the Phasianidae family. The species is named after the countess and naturalist Sarah Amherst, wife of William Pitt Amherst, Governor-General of India, who was responsible for sending the first specimen to London in 1828. It is also known as Amherst's Pheasant.
It is native to southwest China and Burma, but has been introduced in other countries. In particular, there is a small population in England, in Bedfordshire.

As for the Golden P pheasant (Chrysolophus pictus), it is also a species of birds in the Phasianidae family, in the order Galliformes. It is native to China and has been introduced to Great Britain, but its natural habits remain rather poorly known.
The male sports a very colorful plumage, which has made it a common bird in aviaries and zoos.

It is a true firework of color that we offer you here, particularly the color of the plumage of the two birds .. Superb !!!

These two birds are presented in flight, wings fully spread, above a specially designed stand, to be placed in explosive colors (or to be hung).

Taxidermy of the two birds was completed at the end of 2025, so they are in pristine condition.

The two birds can be removed from the stand (as will be the case for shipping), with extreme ease, and can be reassembled just as easily.

This is, of course, an exceptional lot, a Unique lot that you will not see or find anywhere else, except here, for You and only here, on Catawiki.

(All our parcels are secured with materials specifically adapted for them, and shipped no later than the day after your payment, via Colissimo, with the tracking number provided.)
