--In the year 1901 Emil Hermann Nacke in Leipzig presented the first automobile built in Saxony and produced passenger cars and commercial vehicles for the next 30 years. That the brand is almost forgotten today perhaps lies, as the foreword not without humor states, “that according to current knowledge not a single vehicle remains completely preserved.” With this richly illustrated 200-page book the authors have at least erected a literary monument to the brand that is worth seeing.
