Mid-Century Modern 5-Light Sputnik Chandelier - Brass, Teak Wood & Textured Bubble Glass - 1960s/1970s.
The light fixture features five radiating brass arms that serve as beautiful decorative elements; at its core are uniquely shaped solid teak inserts, secured by a matching solid wood disc at the base. Each arm terminates in an intricate brass cup holding a striking, heavy crystal glass sphere. These spheres feature a distinctive textured pattern of spiral-like bubbles—reminiscent of a dandelion seed head (*Pusteblume*)—which, when illuminated, casts a dramatic, starry-sky light projection across the ceiling and surrounding walls.Excellent vintage condition, with a light, period-appropriate patina on the brass surfaces. The wooden elements are well-preserved and retain their color. All five textured glass spheres are intact, free from cracks or visible chips. The lamp has been successfully tested and is in full working order.
