They were acquired in 1994 from British Import, an antique dealer specializing in antique furniture. The original document kept describes them as “four mahogany chairs of Danish origin, 19th century, circa 1830.”
Some photographs deliberately show the chairs without their seats to document construction, joints, and the condition of the frames. The seats are present. The four chairs are sold only as a set.

Good overall condition for their age. The structures appear complete and stable. There is patina, signs of wear, small marks, and possible old restorations compatible with 19th-century furniture. The photographs are an integral part of the description.
