Artemide - Michele De Lucchi, Giancarlo Fassina - Table lamp - Tolomeo mini - Metal, Aluminium - Nero

Artemide Tolomeo Mini table lamp, in an elegant black finish, designed by Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina.

Tolomeo is one of the absolute icons of contemporary Italian design. Designed in 1987, the Tolomeo family became famous for its refined articulated arm system and the balance between engineering, functionality, and aesthetics.

The Tolomeo Mini version retains all the design characteristics of the celebrated Tolomeo table lamp, but in a more compact size. Artemide itself describes the Mini as a version that preserves the dimensions of the original diffuser, while reducing the length of the arms.

The structure features movable aluminum arms, supports and joints in satin-bright aluminum and a diffuser in matte black anodized aluminum. The spring balancing system allows easy adjustment of the diffuser position and enables you to orient the light as needed.

The specimen offered consists of the lamp body in black A005940 and the black table base A008610, with a diameter of 20 cm. The two codes make up the complete table configuration.

The lamp uses a light source with E27 socket, enabling the use of modern retrofit LED bulbs. It is therefore not a lamp with an integrated LED: the source is replaceable.

Design and recognitions
The Tolomeo project originated in 1987 from the collaboration between Michele De Lucchi and Giancarlo Fassina and has become one of the most important projects in Artemide’s history.
The Tolomeo family has received numerous international awards, including the prestigious Compasso d’Oro in 1989.
The Tolomeo Mini represents a particularly versatile interpretation of the original project: its more compact dimensions make it suitable for desks, work tables, nightstands, and domestic or professional environments, while preserving the unmistakable articulated-arm mechanical design that characterizes the collection.
