At the same time it is extremely resistant to scratches or breakages due to accidental falls.

Having the “raw” products, distribution to the artisans’ homes for decoration proceeds, a process that is carried out entirely by hand. This is the most fascinating phase of production: in the small villages of the Lucca hills the historical tradition linked to the “painting of figurines” is still very much alive.
