This 1999 JVC advertising display features two side speakers, an antenna and a built-in Kenwood KRC-358R radio-cassette player, while its front is marked KD-LX30R; it is listed as tested and working and includes a power cord.
Description from the seller
A striking promotional display from JVC, equipped with the inscriptions “Mobile Entertainment” and “El Chameleon”. The display has a black housing with a silver finish, two JVC speakers on the sides, and an antenna.
The front lists the JVC model KD-LX30R. The actual installed car radio, however, is a Kenwood KRC-358R radio-cassette player. The assembly thus differs from the JVC model designation on the display.
On the bottom there is a key switch with the advertising text: “Turn the key, see an amazing transformation!”
Condition: used, with visible scratches, paint damage and wear to the housing, the transparent front, and the advertising panels. At the rear there is loose wiring. In the photos a powered radiodisplay is visible; the full operation of the radio, cassette function, speakers, and the demonstration mechanism has not been established.
A decorative collectible for enthusiasts of car audio, advertising material, and store displays.
