Senshukai - Toy Complete set van 20 Senshukai Royal Pets, inclusief originele doosjes en naamkaartjes - 1960-1970 - Japan

Senshukai Royal Pets is a series of 20 wooden animals, made by the Japanese mail-order company Senshukai, in the period 1960-1970. All little animals are handcrafted from Japanese cherry wood, by kokeshi artisans.

This is a complete series of 20 animals, with 20 boxes + stickers and 20 name cards.

Although these Royal Pets are between 50 and 60 years old, the set is in good to very good vintage condition. Please note there may be differences in color and here and there a stain, dent, or scratch. Also, be aware that some parts can move. That is not a defect; it is intentional so you can position the heads in the direction you like best!

In most boxes you’ll find the filling from the sixties; in other boxes the animals are protected with a soft film. The boxes themselves are generally in reasonable to good condition; you will see occasional signs of use. NOTE: some boxes open smoothly, others stiffly, so be CAREFUL and avoid forcing them as much as possible.

To give you the best possible impression, I have photographed every individual animal extensively. Look closely at the photos so you know what you are buying.
