Description from the seller

Elegant and substantial French Art Deco double lamp, circa 1925, combining a sculptural wrought-iron structure with two signed Le Verre Français / Schneider polychrome marbled glass shades.

The ironwork features a remarkable botanical grapevine motif, with veined leaves, curling tendrils and sculpted grape clusters.

The decorative strength of this piece lies in the harmony between the botanical ironwork and the colours of the glass. Golden-yellow and amber tones, enriched with reddish-brown accents, gradually transition into green and blue-green hues, naturally echoing the vine leaves and grapes.

The undulating pointed edges of the shades evoke stylised flowers or foliage, visually continuing the organic movement of the wrought iron. When illuminated, the marbled glass reveals remarkable warmth and depth; when switched off, the lamp retains a strong sculptural presence.
Signature: both shades are signed Le Verre Français / Schneider.

Dimensions:
Overall height: approx. 50 cm
Maximum width: approx. 40 cm
Base: approx. 36 × 20 cm
Shades: approx. 20 × 14–15 cm
Neck diameter: approx. 5 cm

Weight:
Wrought-iron structure alone: 2.988 kg
Recorded weight of one shade: 666 g
Estimated total weight: approx. 4.32 kg

Condition & photographs: good overall antique condition, with natural patina and minor signs of use consistent with age. Detailed photographic presentation of the object, its signatures and condition.

SHIPPING / SECURE SHIPPING
Due to the fragility of the glass, both shades will be removed and individually packed with reinforced protection. The wrought-iron structure will be carefully protected separately. Secure packaging with tracking and insurance according to the carrier/shipping terms.
