Description from the seller

Elegant 22-piece coffee and tea service from the Russian porcelain manufactory Lomonosov in St. Petersburg, executed in the well-known decoration “Cobalt Net” on the classic Tulip form.

The white porcelain features a finely articulated net of cobalt-blue lines, whose intersections are highlighted by golden, star-shaped accents. Golden rim lines and ornamental borders complete the decoration and give the service a festive appearance.

The gently ribbed walls and curved rims emphasize the graceful shaping. A striking contrast is formed by the deep cobalt-blue handles and spouts, adorned with fine gold plant motifs. The bulbous carafes and the matching sugar bowl harmoniously repeat this design.

The service offers six places, each with a cup, a saucer, and a cake plate. The ensemble is complemented by a large coffee urn with lid, a smaller teapot with lid, a sugar bowl with lid, and a decorative confection plate.

The photographed undersides bear the red manufactory mark “ЛФЗ” with the addition “Made in Russia.” Based on this mark, the service is dated to the period from about 1992 to 2001.
