Set of 100 postcards devoted to Bredene, on the Belgian coast, bringing together old views and more recent cards, in black and white, sepia and color.
The lot presents different facets of the resort: lively beaches, dunes, bath cabins, campsites, hotels, shops, streets, squares and panoramas. It also includes multi-view cards and souvenirs bearing the inscriptions “Bonjour de Bredene” or “Groeten uit Bredene”.
A testimony of seaside tourism of yesteryear, with its holidaymakers, camping facilities and period vehicles.
Some cards are written and stamped, others not. Presence of similar views and a few duplicates.
