Brand Homemade, model Ralph's NYC (mid 80's) Graffiti, made of plastic, 17.5 x 12 x 5 cm, with original packaging, an entirely handmade unique diorama reproducing the Ralph's Discount City façade.
Description from the seller
Relive the nostalgia of the New York that was with this extraordinary miniature artistic diorama.
A one-of-a-kind, completely handmade collectible piece, faithfully scaled to reproduce the legendary facade of Ralph's Discount City, the historic TriBeCa (Manhattan) store closed in 2007 and which has become a symbol of vintage New York thanks in part to the famous shots by photographers James and Karla Murray.
This splendid low-relief diorama captures the urban soul of the Big Apple, complete with a shutter decorated with graffiti, storefronts full of details, and the iconic original lettering. A miniature work of art perfect for New York memorabilia collectors, urban modeling enthusiasts, or to give any space a unique and exclusive touch.
Technical Specifications and Production:
• Dimensions: 17.5 x 12 x 5 cm
• Condition: New, finished and protected with a final clear coat.
• Construction Technique: Advanced mixed technique. The supporting structure was created using high-precision 3D printing and subsequently handcrafted.
• Handcrafted Coloring: Entirely hand-painted. The base tones and main shading were applied with an airbrush, while the finest details, urban weathering, and finishes were done with brushes and acrylic markers.
• Interior Details: The shop windows and displayed goods were recreated using paper printing techniques and millimetric glueing, giving extraordinary depth and breathtaking realism to the entire scene.
Being a completely handmade work of art, no two pieces are identical: a true one-of-a-kind item.
