Description from the seller
The first image is AI-enhanced to better showcase the design against a neutral background. Please rely only on the following original photos for the item’s true condition.
For sale is a beautiful set of 5 cake plates (also usable as breakfast plates or dessert plates) from the renowned manufacturer Villeroy & Boch, from the timeless and highly popular series "Basket". The plates captivate with their classic fruit-basket motif and the characteristic green lattice pattern.
Details & Condition:
• Quantity: 5 pieces
• Diameter: approx. 21 cm
• Material: High-quality Vitreous porcelain
• Condition: Excellent, flawless condition. No chips, no flakes, no cracks, and no deep knife marks in the glaze. The colors and the decoration are vibrant and glossy.
• Collector’s note: The plates come from two different production runs. 3 plates bear the classic older green base mark (under-glaze decor), 2 plates bear the newer brown/black base mark (one of them with an original yellow control sticker). On the front, all plates are visually identical and harmonize perfectly on the table.
A wonderful set to expand an existing collection or to stylishly set a coffee table. Shipping is carried out with extremely secure, padded packaging.
