Exceptional and rare set of 8 flat porcelain plates, from an exclusive advertising edition by the Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg (Septfontaines) manufactory for the famous French liqueur brand Clacquesin (founded in 1860).
This very rare lot revisits the famous decor "Cadiz" created in the late 1960s by the emblematic designer Christine Reuter. It elegantly incorporates the brand name "Clacquesin" in bold characters clearly visible at the heart of the magnificent Mediterranean frieze with blue scrolls and yellow fruits.
A superb opportunity for collectors of vintage bistrot objects (bistrotiana) and connoisseurs of top mid-century design. All pieces bear the official Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg backstamp.
