Bang & Olufsen - BeoLab 3000 - Active Speaker set

The Bang & Olufsen BeoLab 3000 (Type 6718) is an active wall-mounted speaker set designed by Jacob Jensen. While the BeoVox version is passive, this BeoLab model features its own built-in amplifier module at the bottom of the panel with an integrated display readout for source, track and volume when used with a B&O system. The design is inspired by the work of Piet Mondrian and combines polished stainless steel with the rare blue fabric panel.
The panels sit snugly against the wall, making the rear panel act as a sounding board for the bass notes. This, together with the active amplification, yields a full and spacious sound from a cabinet only 7.5 cm deep. The fragile original fabric domes on the woofers have been replaced with permanent new dust caps, so denting or deterioration is definitively a thing of the past. The original wall brackets are neatly included, so the set can be mounted flush to the wall right away. Connections can be made via PowerLink to B&O equipment or via the line input on a streamer or preamplifier.
Condition:
Nice vintage condition with normal light signs of age on the stainless steel and the blue fabric coverings. Technically checked, amplifier modules and displays work as they should, equipped with new permanent dust caps and tested for pristine playback. Includes the accompanying wall brackets.
