Description from the seller

This handwoven Kelim is characterized by a modern, graphic design and an unusually balanced color composition. The large central field is defined by softly interlocking color planes that are vertically organized and appear especially lively due to their irregularly jagged transitions.

In terms of color, the dominant shades are gray-blue, coral red, cream, sand, olive green, and dark green. The individual color fields do not merge strictly into one another, but interlock with fine, irregular edges. This creates a modern, almost abstract effect.

On the two narrow sides, the central field is framed by several decorative stripes. There the colors alternate: brown, coral red, dark green, gray-blue, and cream. Small recurring geometric elements add structure and give the rug a clear frame.

The visible weaving structure and the fine irregularities emphasize the craftsmanship. With its dimensions of 212 × 146 cm, the Kelim is particularly well suited for living, sleeping, or work areas.
